Student email policy

The University has an agreed policy on the use of email, all students of the University of Sunderland are given a University of Sunderland email address at the time of first enrolment and for the duration of their study. The University has agreed a policy that all email communication with students will be through the address provided by the University, and although students will have the ability to forward their email to another personal email service (such as hotmail or google) the University will always communicate through the email address provided by the institution. On leaving the institution access to university email will be removed and students are encouraged to ensure all email they wish to keep is transferred to a personal account.
