Augmented reality is the projection of computer generated images on top of an image of the real world. Very popular and useful on modern smartphones (Pokémon Go!) but can also work with headsets such as Google Glass.
Google Glass - Did for AR what Oculus did for VR. An exciting product probably ahead of its time, Google has put development of the Glass platform on hiatus due to privacy and legal issues.
