PhD Doctor of Philosophy

Title.

Developing nanoparticulate drug delivery systems

Thesis Outline.

- Designing the targeted drug delivery systems
- Manufacturing nanoparticles using modern and classical techniques
- Physico-chemical characterization (e.g. particle size, charge, drug loading & release, stability etc)
- In vitro & in vivo evaluation

Biography.

I have a Bachelor degree in Pharmacy and Master degree in Drug Discovery and Development. Currently, I am doing a full-time PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences under the school of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Faculty of Health Sciences and Wellbeing at the University of Sunderland.

Research Activities.

I am currently focusing on the design and development of nanoparticulate drug delivery systems targeting a particular type of cancer with the aim of repurposing the drug.
