The Sensitive Encounter
This session is a blend of discussion and case studies which explores how you might encounter student mental health issues in your roles, and what appropriate responses might be. This will include pathways to refer, immediate actions to take, knowing the limits of what you can – and should – do, and more.

Naomi Blayney, the University’s Continuous Improvement Manager, will show you some handy techniques to help you look at your work differently and how some simple changes can help you work more effectively. The session will be practical and fun.

Play the game Digital Pursuits. How many cards can you collect? The game will help you to explore and discuss your practical digital capabilities. The session will also demonstrate how you can use various digital creation tools within your working environment.
